first piece - video
[The princess has read up everything she could on Raine Sage's guide to this enclosure, from beginning to end, and though she was calmed about most things and determined to do whatever is is she could in order to return home, there was simply something she couldn't accept.
That time could stand still while they were here.
It was impossible - time marched on, through fortune and its counterpart - and so Hilda finds a relatively quiet spot away from the odd appliances in her small abode to turn her attention to those with more experience.
(Though she comes from a land where even this set-up is hard to come by, she had been more fortunate than her people and lived in a castle. Albeit a lonely and crumbling one. Space is the key here.)
Her staff is clenched tightly, and it's clear she's mildly distressed by something.]
To those whom are listening: Hello. I am Princess Hilda, ruler of a sorrowful land named Lorule, and I'm in need of those with experience in an experiment that took place some time ago that allowed you to visit your home for less than a day as told in Raine Sage's guide. While she's assured us not to worry about home, I can't help but do just that as it is my duty to be there in its time of need.
[Which, if you couldn't tell from the obvious concern, is exactly the case. She's absolutely needed there.]
Of course, if one has experience regarding time outside of that, I would like to hear it as well. That is all I request. Thank you very much.
[She inclines her head slightly, eyes closing, and leaves it at that.]

[It's not a Shift he'll forget anytime soon, even if his return home was rather uneventful. A trip around Yavin on the Falcon, introducing Lupin to Mara, Kyle, and Han, and seeing Threepio? That was all well and good. But this girl clearly had something more pressing at home.]
If you really had come back the second you'd left, no matter how long you'd stayed in this enclosure. [The most pressing one.] I don't mind participating in these experiments if it's to secure a safe way home, but only if my kingdom truly does lie dormant.
[video] sorry I am just heading to bed T.T
[That he can say with some certainty. He remembers rather vividly the return shift. Luke smiles encouragingly]
Don't worry about your kingdom, Princess. It'll be there when you get back.
[video] perfectly okay! good night!
I'm sure it will be. You don't happen to know what keeps them so still, do you? Is it the work of outside forces, or of those called the Filial Spirits that reside here?
[He wishes he did know, and thinks perhaps it might be the will of the Force, but it's not really clear and he'd never ask a stranger to take it on faith.]
There've been plenty of people who've gone home and returned aside from that experiment.

Ah... greetings, Hilda-sama! I am Rock Lee, and I would like to help you out! You see, such an experiment... It was before my time here in this world. But I did have a different experience! After I was here for almost a year, I was sent back to my home world. I returned to Luceti soon afterwards, but when I was at home... I was at the exact instant I had left, despite all the time that had passed at Luceti! It was as if my time here had not existed at all.
If his time hadn't existed at all. Something like a void, or a curse. If one could make the world stand still like that, then was it a measure to ensure that nothing was astray while they were here? But it wouldn't work the opposite way, she supposed.]
Thank you for your contribution, Rock Lee. It's reassuring to me that my kingdom will be as it always had, no better nor worse, even though I'd still like to return to it should this... magic ceases. ["Magic" for lack of a better word, honestly.] Did you remember this place while you were at home?
I hope that you can return to your home as well. As for myself... I did not remember Luceti at all in my time at home. Then again... I was in the middle of an emergency situation during the entire time that I was back home, so I did not have any opportunity for deep reminiscing. [He doesn't want to accept that he could definitely lost all his memories of this place and his new friends if he returns home.] Perhaps the memories may be buried in some way.
[Overwhelming, even. Like filling a glass too fast. But that's all speculation, and wouldn't do much good without solid proof. How could you even get it? She can't think of a way.]
But that's merely speculation on my part. I would also return during a dangerous time, so I think I would have the same experience you did.
I am sorry to hear about the dangers of your time, however. I hope that the situation can be resolved.

Hi, Princess Hilda. My name's Aang, and I was around for that experiment you talked about. The thing is... It was a lot more complicated than sending some of us back home.
Please, go on. What do you mean?
And so you were in danger?
[But that isn't what she's worried about. An experiment that has such bad outliers is too dangerous to trust... While they seemed to be on the right track to returning everyone home, it's clear that there was still work to be done. To put someone in the wrong time and place would be awful. Especially in her case.]

It doesn't cheer her up much but she appreciates the attempt. Not many tried back home, except... One person. But she hadn't seen that person in a while. Stupid boy.]
A joke. I see. Are you so carefree because time doesn't move back home?

[ The Important Questions. ]
Is it made of gold? Or silver? Does it have designs on it?
video;
Though honestly she feels a bit awkward.]
I am, and I do. It has many designs on its sides and back: My family's crest, as well as a sacred object my land once held dear. All of which are inlaid with silver. Though it's made of wood instead of any metal.
[And each part is heavy despite and because of its luxurious comfort. A reminder that her land isn't as well off, and why her people don't like her family so much.]

[ She...really likes birds...
And royalty...
Princesses are still really cool for her. ]

[If only because she seemed interested, and it would be easier to show than tell.]

[ Ikki's interested in almost everything, admittedly, but she's particularly interested in this right now. ]
