[The princess has read up everything she could on Raine Sage's guide to this enclosure, from beginning to end, and though she was calmed about most things and determined to do whatever is is she could in order to return home, there was simply something she couldn't accept.

That time could stand still while they were here.

It was impossible - time marched on, through fortune and its counterpart - and so Hilda finds a relatively quiet spot away from the odd appliances in her small abode to turn her attention to those with more experience.

(Though she comes from a land where even this set-up is hard to come by, she had been more fortunate than her people and lived in a castle. Albeit a lonely and crumbling one. Space is the key here.)

Her staff is clenched tightly, and it's clear she's mildly distressed by something.]

To those whom are listening: Hello. I am Princess Hilda, ruler of a sorrowful land named Lorule, and I'm in need of those with experience in an experiment that took place some time ago that allowed you to visit your home for less than a day as told in Raine Sage's guide. While she's assured us not to worry about home, I can't help but do just that as it is my duty to be there in its time of need.

[Which, if you couldn't tell from the obvious concern, is exactly the case. She's absolutely needed there.]

Of course, if one has experience regarding time outside of that, I would like to hear it as well. That is all I request. Thank you very much.

[She inclines her head slightly, eyes closing, and leaves it at that.]

[A child... There weren't many back home, and rightfully so, so it actually makes Hilda a little soft. Just a little. The ones that were there weren't as cheerful and friendly as this girl seemed to be.

Though honestly she feels a bit awkward.]

I am, and I do. It has many designs on its sides and back: My family's crest, as well as a sacred object my land once held dear. All of which are inlaid with silver. Though it's made of wood instead of any metal.

[And each part is heavy despite and because of its luxurious comfort. A reminder that her land isn't as well off, and why her people don't like her family so much.]

What does your family's crest look like? Does it have birds?

[ She...really likes birds...

... Perhaps. There are wings on either side of the sacred object, which may be connected to birds, though that part of history has admittedly been told only by word of mouth. Would you like me to draw it?

[If only because she seemed interested, and it would be easier to show than tell.]

[ Ikki's interested in almost everything, admittedly, but she's particularly interested in this right now. ]

[She starts to nod, but after a moment shakes her head. And draws. It least it's simple and something she's known her whole life.]

I do... But as the ruler of a [dying] kingdom, I don't have time to do it and I'm not allowed to abstain from my duties. So I'm rather inexperienced in comparison to an associate of mine, who is talented enough to paint the likeliness of someone he's only seen once.

[It's amazing. It may also have something to do with magic for the latter, but he's definitely got talent. Unlike her.]

Well...you can join the art club, if you want! And learn there. But, I think you did pretty well! That does look a little like a bird - with spread wings, right?

[She might join the art club. It would be fun. Probably. And she can show off her techniques to her companion if he should ever arrive.]

That is correct. It is said in one legend that the bird represents one which gave the land to my people, though as I mentioned it might have been twisted by time. Or simply a different interpretation... a unique thought about the events.
