[The princess has read up everything she could on Raine Sage's guide to this enclosure, from beginning to end, and though she was calmed about most things and determined to do whatever is is she could in order to return home, there was simply something she couldn't accept.

That time could stand still while they were here.

It was impossible - time marched on, through fortune and its counterpart - and so Hilda finds a relatively quiet spot away from the odd appliances in her small abode to turn her attention to those with more experience.

(Though she comes from a land where even this set-up is hard to come by, she had been more fortunate than her people and lived in a castle. Albeit a lonely and crumbling one. Space is the key here.)

Her staff is clenched tightly, and it's clear she's mildly distressed by something.]

To those whom are listening: Hello. I am Princess Hilda, ruler of a sorrowful land named Lorule, and I'm in need of those with experience in an experiment that took place some time ago that allowed you to visit your home for less than a day as told in Raine Sage's guide. While she's assured us not to worry about home, I can't help but do just that as it is my duty to be there in its time of need.

[Which, if you couldn't tell from the obvious concern, is exactly the case. She's absolutely needed there.]

So long as you don't mind answering something off our current topic, I do. It's in regards to the Filial Spirits that reside here.

Of course. I'll answer what I can.

If someone is already able to use magic, will they be able to learn the ones the Filial Spirits offer? If so, is it easier? If not, is there a particular reason for it? Would the magic one already possesses somehow mess up theirs if you were to learn both, or are they that different?

[A pause while she thinks. What else...]

And... Are these eight the only ones, or are there more that we're not aware of? Please, take your time. I know it's a lot.

Filial magic will not interfere with anything you may have learned from home. If anything, you may be able to use it to enhance your current abilities. I've never heard of incompatibilities, but you may want to ask Ms. Raine Sage about it. She's more experienced with them than I am.

[And he thinks on it, shaking his head.]

Nala, Sona, Kipinn, Eferin, Hyt, Faerin, Tsinku, and Twila. That's all eight. If there are more, I'm certainly not aware of them.

[That's good. Very good.]

Are we able to bring our knowledge of them home, or are their powers only connected to this world? I assume it's the second, though if I were able to bring back whatever teachings to my land it would be most helpful.

As far as I know? No. All signs point to them being completely localized to this world, even this enclosure.

[And...when you leave you don't remember being here till you get back.]

... I see. Thank you. It wouldn't be wrong to assume that if they are only for this enclosure, that others may have their own spirits they speak with, though that doesn't matter much to us in here.

[A true pity. She turns her face away, frowning slightly, and sighs. If she couldn't bring back their teachings, if it was possible to bring back the spirits themselves... That may prove more than useful. But that would be something to ask someone who has worked more with then, like Ms. Raine Sage.]
